Common questions

What counts as a page?

Every unique URL the crawler fetches during a scan. The page budget is per scan, not per month — a 500-page site scanned weekly uses 500 pages, not 2,000.

Do I need Google Search Console to use this?

No. Crawling, change detection, and technical audits work on any public site. Connecting Search Console and GA4 is what lets the AI optimizer rank recommendations by actual traffic impact.

What happens if I downgrade?

Nothing is deleted. Sites over the new limit stop being scanned automatically until you remove some or upgrade again, and crawl budgets are clamped to the new plan on the next scan.

Can I run this on my own infrastructure?

Yes — the whole stack is a Next.js app, a worker process, Postgres, and Redis. A docker-compose file is included for the two datastores.
